5. Intellectual Property
The presentation and content of the Site constitute works protected under French and international intellectual property law. Protectable elements such as texts, photographs, data, graphics, videos, images, as well as elements of form (choice, layout, organization of content, data arrangement, etc.) are the property of CHEMPARC under copyright law and database producer rights.
CHEMPARC may exploit these elements alone or with the consent of the rights holders worldwide. Any full or partial reproduction or representation on any medium requires prior authorization from CHEMPARC, in accordance with Articles L.122-4 and L.342-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
Exceptions for Private Use
Under Article L.122-5 of the Intellectual Property Code, the works on the Site may only be used privately and non-exclusively by Site users. You are allowed to reproduce content for storage on a single computer for display on a single screen, for a single backup copy, or for printing. Paper reproductions are permitted as long as they fall within private use and are not shared collectively.
Database Rights
As the author and producer of the Site’s database, CHEMPARC holds all rights related to it. According to Articles L.342-1 and following, extraction by permanent or temporary transfer, on any medium and by any means, of all or a substantial part of the Site’s content is prohibited, except for purely private or educational purposes.
Liabilities
Non-compliance with these rules constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights without prior express consent from CHEMPARC. This infringement may affect copyrights, database producer rights, or both, and constitutes an act of counterfeiting punishable under Articles L.335-2 and L.342-1 et seq. of the Intellectual Property Code.
Prohibited Exploitation
Any total or partial commercial use of the Site’s presentation or content for third parties, in any form, is strictly prohibited. Public provision of Site elements via sale, exchange, or rental (audio, video, graphics, or textual content) is explicitly forbidden. Violations expose the infringer to civil and criminal penalties.

CHEMPARC endeavors to ensure the accuracy and updating of Site information but reserves the right to correct content at any time without notice. CHEMPARC cannot guarantee accuracy, precision, timeliness, or completeness. CHEMPARC is not liable for inaccuracies, omissions, or damage resulting from third-party intrusions or modifications. 9. Website Availability
